It’s a family affair for this exquisite collection of artists celebrating new songs.
Saturday evening March 12, 2022 Ballard’s favorite intimate venue Conor Byrne joins up with the PNW’s newest artist co-op DICE LAB to bring deeply moving intimate singer songwriter performances from new arrival Jaiden Grayson, DICE LAB Co-founder Lara Lavi and the mighty mighty King Youngblood. All three are signed to DICE LAB and in joyous collaborations. Folks may remember multi award winner singer-songwriter and entertainment industry professional Warner Chappell songwriter Lara Lavi who first hit the stages years ago and has toured the world with the likes of Peter Gabriel, The Neville Brothers, Carol King, Sheryl Crow and many more. King Youngblood’s full band show is an exhilirating workout, but their intimate acoustic show really showcases their band leader – Cameron Lavi-Jones’ incredible songwriting ability.
What makes this show especially interesting is in fact – Lara Lavi is Cameron Lavi-Jones’ manager, one of his songwriting mentors and his mother! Lara Lavi’s set will be a family affair with her husband Maurice Jones Jr on bass, Cameron on guitar and the multi-platinum producer arranger Phil Peterson on cello. Jaiden Grayson will have Cameron on double shift playing guitar for her set as he is one of her main producers. DICE LAB is celebrating the 2-22-2022 release of Jaiden’s first single Mama to critical acclaim.
The peak of the evening will come as King Youngblood presents fresh acoustic versions of many of the songs coming on their new album Big Thank May 13, 2022.
Says Lara Lavi, “We formed DICE LAB to give some structure as an artist Co-Op to artist wanting a home but wishing to keep ownership of their music because we are all artists, helping artists be artists at, DICE LAB.” Adds co-Founder Cameron Lavi-Jones, “Anytime I get to perform with my mom is a precious day as we are only on this planet for a minute and playing and she is the GOAT of songwriting and singing with her is an audio gift as we blend so so so well and.”
